Established in 2025, the Department of Commerce at Government College Doimukh began its
academic journey with two faculty members and seven students. Since then, it has grown into
a vibrant centre of learning, dedicated to nurturing intellectual curiosity, academic excellence,
and professional competence.
The Department offers a dynamic learning environment where students gain a strong
foundation in Accounting, Finance, Human Resource Management, Marketing, Company
Law, Labour Legislation, Entrepreneurship, Managerial Economics, Income Tax, and Goods
and Services Tax (GST). Our experienced and committed faculty combine theoretical
teaching with practical insights, helping students bridge the gap between classroom
knowledge and real-world applications.
We believe in holistic education that goes beyond academics. Through workshops,
expert talks, paper presentations, and field visits, students are encouraged to think critically,
communicate effectively, and develop leadership skills. The classroom culture is interactive
and inclusive, fostering respect for diverse opinions and perspectives.
Equipped with modern teaching aids and technology, the Department continuously
strives to create a stimulating and student-friendly academic environment. Guided by a spirit
of innovation and social responsibility, the Department of Commerce remains committed to
